"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work."
2 Corinthians 9:8

Once or twice, truly thirce, over halfway to birth, my stomach twisting like a classic pretzel, as the gell slips all over my stomach for the anatomy ultra sound. For this significant milestone on the lovely yet turbulent trip of bearing life, I feel anxious as the results show the development of our child and the future of our family. Pregnancy, well all aspects of motherhood, produces trust through surrender of any preceived sense of control. A baby's development, temperament and of course gender stays uniquely designed by the Creator of life- God. So as fear creeps in, I find faith again in trusting that for our grand finale child, God-willing, our heavenly Father knows how to give good gifts- another sibling perfect for the harmony of our little Couture clan.
So with the virtue of "grace-finder" and the scripture of 2 Corinthians 9:8 for our fourth child on my heart, I felt His grace abound when we discoved another daughter for us. With two big brothers and two little sisters, our growing family of six seems so harmonious balanced. Each sibling shall experience the complex sorrows of sharing with the opposite sex and the companionship of commodory with the same gender. Also, I personally shall enjoy the sibling dynamics of two girls and two boys like my childhood favorite book C.S. Lewis' "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe."
Furthermore, due in the advent season, when the world quiets in cheerful anticipation, our little girl , by God's grace, shall arrive to two big brother protectors and one older sister to provide guidance. As, a mother of three already, the fourth baby feels less daunting and more delectable as we square dance to a string quartet playing a jig to the tune of four littles six and under.
Oh, how I desire for our youngest daughter to dance with grace living into her name Kora, meaning "heart" or "maiden" in Greek, Elizabeth, meaning "God is my Oath" in hebrew, with a heart secure in the promises of God.
So for our growing family with four littles, amazing grace abounds as we anticipate our second daughter this yuletide.
